Back to My Roots: Duro Olowu

Some of you many not be aware, but I am a Nigerian by birth. I lived in Nigeria for 12 years, then I moved to Ghana in 2006 and now I am in Canada. Most of you guys have never heard my voice. No, I do not have a Canadian/American accent. I have a mix of Nigerian and Ghanaian accent mostly because of the people in my immediate surroundings. However, most people would say I'm more of a Ghanaian than a Nigerian, but my full name Kikelomo Omolehinwa would, no doubt, tell anyone that I'm 100% Nigerian. Lol.

Blouse: Forever 21 | Shorts: Duro Olowu For JCP | Shoes: GoJane | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Earrings: Ardene | Wristwatch: Avon's Men's Wristwatch

Total Cost: Approx. $61

About the Outfit: I was very pleased to get my hands on this pair of shorts from the Duro Olowu - JCP collection during my trip to the States. Duro Olowu is a Nigerian designer based in London, UK. I found this pair in the clearance rack and I quickly grabbed it because I absolutely love the vibrant print and pattern on it. I'm not really a shorts person; however, when I saw Ms. Sole of Love, Life & Pearls in a similar pair, I knew I wanted one for myself!

Do you currently live in your country/place of birth, or have you moved? And how many times?
