So I took my tripod out on a spin on Saturday again. I must say I'm quite surprised that the pictures turned out like this. Anyway, I decided to try colorful tights for the first time, but in order not to look too crazy, I paired it with these boots with a similar color. What do you think?

I really love these colors together, they look so rich and kinda ombre-ish? (is that even a word?). I've had this dress for almost a year now and this was actually my second time styling it. The material is so soft and thick, so it kept me warm; I didn't have to put on a jacket! How did you spend your Easter weekend?

My Tripod And I

So I decided to get myself a tripod because it's so difficult getting someone to help take my pictures. Sometimes I do, but other times I get really disappointed by them on the day of the shoot! I'm also very particular about the look my pictures, so it's also challenging getting the 'perfect picture' because I do not have a professional photog.

Anyhoo, since I don't currently use a camera, I got a smart-phone mount (adapter) to be able to use the tripod with my Samsung S2. I strolled to the riverside to do some test shots, and it was a little bit of a disaster (LOL); however, I was able to get a few 'presentable' pictures. Oh! but these pictures did not occur without any hassle. I was running back and forth from the tripod to my pose... you have no idea! People were staring at me initially and I just couldn't be bothered. All I knew was I had to get at least ONE picture!  I ended up turning black because I spent SO much time in the sun. Sigh...

I'll keep trying, and hopefully I'll be a pro at using a tripod (with no remote - how annoying!) in no  time! How do you take pictures for your blog?

I scored these boots for $7.58 (yes, you read that correctly!) about two weeks back! This has to be my greatest deal so far! I'm absolutely in love with them and they just look super gorgeous in person! Guys, Suzy Shier, one of my favorite stores, now ships to US!

It's been freezing cold, and I don't know if I can continue shooting outside. We'll see! I was searching for affordable leather pants everywhere, but the only ones I could find were leggings! I finally got these ones over the Christmas break for only about $17.

Some shopping tips: study the stores where you shop, be specific about the items you want to buy, stalk them for a while if they're too pricey, then get them when they're on sale. It pays to wait... sometimes!

Hey guys, I'm back! That didn't take too long right? I decided to resume early because I feel much better!

Valentine's day is around the corner, and I know some people are already going crazy looking for that 'special outfit'. As for the rest of us, we're just here chilling; we'll help you with your outfit ideas and that's it for us. *Story of my Life*

Anyhoo, Valentine's day outfits normally gear towards sweet, girly, cute outfits, but I decided to come up with something more edgy. This look will be more appropriate for like a classy romantic dinner, so please don't wear this to the movies! Jk. 

I really need a good and affordable DSLR camera. Can please you recommend any?

There was lots of crazy sales going on over the holiday break, and I made sure I took advantage of them.. duh! LOL. I got his dress for $15 in a size US 8- I am a US size 4. I wanted the 'loose shift dress kind of look'.
